Solar Echo is part of the Echo Series, connecting you to real-time events occurring around or from beyond this world. Solar Echo visualizes real-time activity from the sun and its effect on Earth (Kp-index).
As one walks up to the piece, their image is reflected back. The contrast of their image changes based on the current Kp-index value.
Note: If noise is of concern, the animation for the solar activity can be limited, and the piece can be set to "sleep" at night.
