Project Director - Kinetic Art Installations

The Studio

BREAKFAST is a world-renowned art studio with a reputation for conceiving and producing some of the most high-tech, connected artworks in the world. BREAKFAST’s work has found its way into various museums, lobbies, stadiums and public spaces. In the past three months, BREAKFAST has installed 6 large-scale installations, sold several artworks to private collectors around the world, and have recently had a high-profile piece auctioned by Christie's.

All of this has been achieved by a group of 6 full-time employees. We believe strongly in hiring extremely talented people who work together to do great things in the most efficient manner. While we plan to expand incrementally, we aim to keep our table small and only invite the very best to join.

The Position

BREAKFAST specializes in crafting some of the most complex and unique artworks in the world. As such, we seek highly technical problem solvers of the highest caliber. The Project Director will be the glue holding our extremely talented team together, and ultimately be responsible for ensuring smooth production and delivery of all our work.

The Project Director will have their eye on all aspects of production in the studio, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. They will have a strong love for both technology and art, as success will only be achieved if they have a natural desire to understand the inner workings of everything we build. They will need to be a sponge, soaking up every decision and conversation to ensure they can communicate the intentions and processes of the studio better than anyone else.

It’s a rare and exciting role, and the opportunities to make an impact on the world are real and significant.
